6th November 2021 | Apple News, Rounds Ups
Email is one of the most-used apps on people’s computers as it’s still the primary business communication device. The trouble with the Mail app in 2021, though, is that it isn't much that different from what it was 16 years ago.
Other mail programs like Spark, Spike, Two-Bird, Hey, and even Outlook offer so many functions that Apple Mail's feature set is starting to look empty when compared to alternatives.
Apple Mail is likely one of the most popular apps on macOS and iOS, so it could be renamed Apple Mail Lite and then work on a Pro version for businesses and prosumers. So, here are a few of the features that’d probably be on this version:
Scheduled Send – Send Later
Snooze Message Functionality
Integrated Task API
Integrated Calendar API
Mail app add-Ons
Smart filtering
What do you think? Does Apple need a “pro” version of Mail?
